Alderson Public Library
Donations
Gifts to the Alderson Public Library create opportunities for those in our community who use the library. There are many opportunities to donate to the Alderson Public Library, both monetarily and through the donation of materials. All gifts are accepted in accordance with the Alderson Public Library's Gift and Donation Policy.
Material Donations
The Alderson Public Library accepts donations of gently used books, DVDs and other media. Some donated items are added to our collection, some are sold by our Friends of the Library group. Items donated may be utilized in different "Little Libraries" as well as blessing boxes. We ensure that your donations benefit the Library and our community.
We do not accept textbooks, encyclopedia sets older than two years, or items that are moldy, musty, or in disrepair. To drop off donations, please reach out to our library staff, as donations must be dropped off during the Library hours of operation. Please do not drop off donations in our drop box.
Monetary Donations

Please consider making a donation of any amount. For any questions on making a monetary donation, please call the Library at 304-445-7221, or email our director here!
